Our wall murals are printed to order and are suitable for home decor or commercial spaces such as offices, restaurants, and building lobbies. Murals are printed on vinyl or canvas and can be sized to fit your wall space.
Our vinyl wall murals have a smooth finish and are ideal for murals from photos with a graphic subject matter, such as cityscapes, skylines and architecture. Vinyl murals are printed on Type II, 15 oz, solid vinyl fabric-backed wallcovering and printed with UV protected inks with 20 years of indoor fade resistance. Vinyl murals may be used outdoors or in most areas when weatherproofing is applied. The material is tear proof and washable with mild soap and water. Our vinyl murals won’t damage your walls and may be removed and reinstalled one time. Our vinyl wall murals surpass all fire code ratings for interior commercial applications.
Our canvas wall murals have a textured matte finish and are ideal when a softer look is desired. Our canvas murals are printed on Type I, 9 oz. canvas material and printed with UV protected inks with 20 years of indoor fade resistance. Canvas murals are not recommended for outdoor use. The material is completely washable with mild soap and water. Canvas wall murals may only be installed once and are not flame resistant like our vinyl murals are. How much do your wall murals cost?
Pricing is dependent on the size of the wall mural you need and the mural material. Please contact us with the size of the mural you will need and the Photo ID# of the image you would like printed on your mural and we will send you pricing via email.

What materials are your murals printed on?

What are my size options?
Our murals can be printed at almost any size, within the limits of the image resolution. Since our photos are mostly taken from medium and large format film exposures we can scan the film to a higher resolutionfor your mural if needed. We will be glad to assist you in choosing a suitable image for your mural.
Is there a minimum size?
Yes, the minimum size for our wall murals is 4 feet x 6 feet (122cm x 183cm).
How are wall murals hung?
Our murals are hung much like wallpaper. If you are not comfortable or familiar with hanging wallpaper, we recommend that you consult a professional wallpaper installer. One source is the Guild of Professional Paper Hangers.
What do I need to know before I begin to hang my wall mural?
In order to hang a wall mural properly your wall should be smooth and free of irregularities. You should not use sizing or any other wall prep/primer. Doing so may cause adhesion problems. The ideal surface is an inexpensive flat latex paint. If you're unsure of your existing painted wall, we recommend 2 coats of flat latex. If the existing paint is a gloss or semi-gloss, use a medium grit sandpaper to roughen it.
Can I install a wall mural in a bathroom or other high-moisture area?
Yes, if certain precautions are taken during installation. The installed wall mural must be coated with a water-based polyurethane (several light coats) to protect it from moisture. If you suspect moisture exists behind the wall, an adhesive containing a mildewcide should be used before the mural is installed.
Are the murals pre-pasted?
No. We feel that it is better to apply paste to the paper at hanging, as it makes for easier hanging and a better looking mural. Professional hangers will apply paste to pre-pasted paper anyway to ensure a quality hanging.
What if the wall I want the mural on is not a smooth surface?
If you have a textured wall surface, wood paneling, cinder block, or any other rough surface, we recommend the installation of a liner paper, followed by 2 coats of flat latex paint. A liner paper is simply blank wallpaper which covers irregularities in the wall surface.
Will my wall be damaged when I remove a wall mural to redecorate?
No, your wall will not be damaged. Following proper wallpaper removing procedures will ensure your wall will not be damaged upon removal.
Can a mural be cleaned?
Yes, our murals can be cleaned by lightly washing them with a damp sponge. Please note: excessive scrubbing or harsh chemical cleaning products may damage the printed surface.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we can ship mural orders to any location served by FedEx. orders to Canada are shipped via UPS. Please note that we have a $500 minimum for custom-printed murals shipped internationally. There is no order minimum for orders of our pre-configured wall murals. |
