A jury in the Southern District of NY federal courts has sided with plaintiff Andrew Prokos in his three-year-long copyright infringement suit against Full Stack LLC, the owner of website Milled.com. A jury awarded significant damages to the photographer as compensation for infringements across multiple images. The victory for the plaintiff in this case is also a significant win for all photographers and creatives in that it sets a precedent for future cases where similar infringing uses might occur.
